Welcoming Devin Walsh and Kwame Morris as Advisors to Chaac Ventures

We are excited to welcome two new strategic advisors to Chaac Ventures, Devin Walsh, and Kwame Morris.

About Devin (LinkedIn)

Devin Walsh is the founder of Reverb Network, whose mission is to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to become a successful entrepreneur. She is launching a Y Combinator-style Accelerator program in January 2021 in New Jersey.

Recently, she spent 2 years investing as a principal at CoinFund, sourcing and leading investments in digital assets and blockchain technology in NYC.

Before that, she received her MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurial Strategy at MIT Sloan School of Management. while working on business development at ConsenSys, a blockchain-focused venture production studio. Prior to that, she spent several years running Product and Project Strategy on firm-wide initiatives at BlackRock.

Devin will be supporting Chaac’s crypto and blockchain investment strategies, as well as bringing her insights and expertise to Chaac and Chaac portfolio companies.

Kwame Morris is the founder of Yagan Stone Eyewear (YSE). In addition, Kwame is a creative artist and experienced entrepreneur, born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where he lived before moving to Los Angeles at age 12. Kwame graduated from Morehouse College, where he studied Sociology with a concentration in Media and Art. After graduating, Kwame began working in the TV and entertainment space, both acting and producing, and later working for the women’s clothing house, L’agence.

On the music production side, Kwame has worked with artists and producers including, TrapMoneyBenny, FnZ, Edwin Arzu- writing and producing music that weaves through RnB, Soul, Funk. His latest venture, YSE, is a sunglasses brand that focuses on the reimagining of classic and iconic eras of eyewear.

Kwame will be working with select Chaac portfolio companies, including music-tech company, Createsafe, whose mission is to bring transparency to the highly complex and music industry via technology.
